I can't believe that my baby is seven months old already. Time has just flown by. It seems like yesterday he was in my tummy and now he is sitting, rolling, scooting, blabbing, eating and snuggling. He is such a sweet good natured baby. He still loves his Sophie and the jumperoo but he has also become quite attached to his blankie. He loves watching his sister dance around him and he even giggles at her. His smile is so infectious and those eyelashes - oh those eyelashes! I know I'm biased but I think he is the most handsome thing ever! I love him so much and love being his mom.

Farmer's Market
We went to the Farmer's Market on Saturday and it was so nice! The weather was actually good. We picked up some fresh produce and then headed over to Turf for breakfast. For those of you who haven't been there to eat - I highly recommend it. Everything on the menu is great and their breakfasts are just as good as Matt's Big Breakfast without all the waiting.
Summer is here!

Almost
I thought I'd let everyone know what has been consuming our life these past few weeks...
We were planning on buying a local children's boutique. We had negotiated a price, purchased a computer system and started moving merchandise when everything fell through. We were looking forward to being small business owners. We are very sad that it didn't work out but will definitely chalk it up to a learning experience. We never anticipated the process to be such an emotional roller coaster. We are both a little relieved today to know that it's over and that we can move on. We now have a taste of the entreprenuer lifestyle and I don't think we'll give up on that dream just yet. Stay tuned because you never know...
Oh and thank you to all of our friends and family who have been so supportive of us!

Max's Well Visit
Today I took Max for his 6 month well visit. He is actually almost 7 months but for some reason I am a little behind... Anyway, I expected to see a huge jump on his growth chart since he is now getting only formula and eating solids but, he is still on the smaller side. We describe him as "compact". He is doing all the things a 6 month old should be so it went well. The doctor was also impressed that he started waving the other day. Like I said in my previous post, we are seriously slacking on the picture taking so I don't have a current picture to post but here are his stats:
Weight: 16lb. 1oz.
Height: 26.5 inches
Percentile: 25% for weight, 50% for height

My Mother's Day Gift
Since we have been seriously slacking on our picture taking lately, I thought I would post a picture of my new necklace. I have wanted something with both the kids birthdates on it for awhile now so I was soooooo happy when I opened the little brown box. I LOVE that it is totally handcrafted and that the beads are the kids' birthstones. Carlos did good! I had a great mother's day hanging out at Jen & Jesse's by the pool sipping sangrias. I had a chance to sit back and notice just how happy both my kids are and that I feel like such a lucky mama. Suki has this awesome sense of humor - she really understands sarcasm and she makes us laugh everyday! Max has such an infectious smile - his eyes light up and it seems like his whole face is smiling. It is the cutest thing in the world. I love them both so much!

Children's Museum
Today Jackie and I took the kids to the Children's Museum. The kids had a great time and it was nice spending some time with Carlos' sister too! I'm so glad that she moved back from LA and has become such an important part of our kids lives.
Max lounging on the pillow pods
Suki checking out with her groceries
Looking for the cookie box
Tita and Suki checking out their purchases
Suki in the noodle forest
Suki loved this thing where you turn it and the bugs flew off!
Max loved the light up floor mats...sensory overload!
Suki being a good sister.
Outside playing while mommy and Tita had a snack.
She didn't even ride this...just posed for the picture :)
