Me:     Suki finish your dinner so you can get dessert
Suki:   But Mama, I was bein' sneeeeaaaky yesterday
Me:     Why were you being sneaky?
Suki:   I was bein' sneeeeaaaky cuz I wanted my sucker
Me:    But I gave you a sucker after you finished your lunch
Suki:  Well I threw my samwitch in the trash so I can get a sucker

It's been awhile since I've posted any photos of my little man...  He is 16 months old now and still my sweet cuddly little lovebug.  He has nine teeth, speaks in his own jibberish language, likes stacking things then knocking them over, laughs from deep in his belly and loves loves loves his sister!

So here it is two days before my little girl turns three..YES THREE!  I can't believe how three years can just fly by when you're busy living your life.  I recently watched the movie "Motherhood" and while it probably won't win any Oscars it certainly is a great movie for moms to watch (specifically stay-at-home moms).  Anyway in the movie she takes a picture of her babies every year on their last day of being that age.  I thought that was such an awesome idea and plan to start this tradition.  Birthdays are always about turning a year older while us moms out there really just want our babies to stay that age forever!  I'll be sharing some photos on Suki's last days of two over the next couple of days and then of course the inevitable turning of age will happen...

My New Baby

My new baby arrived today...

I have been wanting to get a better camera for a long time now and while I have been lusting after all the fancy SLR cameras out there I just knew that was not realistic for me for many reasons...

1. I woud never want to lug around that heavy camera so I wouldn't end up taking many pictures.
2. I would probably never learn to use it for all it is intended.
3. I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on a camera. 

Anyway after being extremely happy with my last two Canon's I decided to stick with it.  I have been reading review after review and finally settled on the PowerShot SX120IS.  It was fairly inexpensive for all that it does and is still an uprade from my old Canon.  I plan on playing around with the manual settings a little but will probably shoot in automatic most of the time.  I'll be posting pictures soon.....
